A first love is bikes, and when the chance came to pin on a number it elevated a simple way to stay active and be outdoors into a deeper level of commitment and enjoyment. Cyclocross played a big part in my seasons throughout the 2000s and 2010s. Today I had the chance to head out to Knockburn to spectate with a camera and reconnect with many familiar faces; the weather nudged the whole experience from a solid 10/10 to an 11/10. I’m very tempted to pin a number on again — maybe next year……..
